  • Do you assist families with funeral services or repatriation ?

    Our program is presently limited to only provide financial assistance such that you can solely take care of funeral expenses. However, we are currently forming and training a special team assigned to assist families with funeral services and repatriation. You will be immediately notified via phone or email as soon as the funeral service assistance program is up and running.

  • Can one pay for two or more years of membership?

    No. SIGMA membership is only valid for a year from the day of purchase and renewable on, or after the day of expiration. But no worries, expiration/renewal notifications will be sent out to you before your membership lapses.

  • What are the advantages of a burial assistance program over Life Insurance?

    Our program is not a replacement of life insurance. However, it presents a wide range of advantages. First and foremost, it is very affordable to all, and free for children between 0-20 years old enrolled in a family membership. Secondly, there is no medical exams required to qualify for the program. Thirdly, claim and cash benefit can be processed within 48 hours depending on the information provided during the claim and the bank which will receive the cash benefit deposit.

  • How long does it take to receive the cash benefit?

    The cash benefit can be processed within 48 hours depending on the information verification during the claim and the bank which will receive the cash benefit deposit. The more accurate and accessible the information provided are the faster the payment is processed.

  • Can we set up an installment payment plan?

    Installment payment plan is not available to members. In an event of an unfortunate sudden death of the subscriber, the beneficiary will not qualify to receive the cash benefit if the total membership fee was not paid off before the passing occurred.

  • Does the three months grace period roll over when second year membership is renewed?

    The three months grace period is only applied to your very first membership in compensation of no medical exam requirement, no registration fee and no administrative fee. Therefore, it would not be applicable to any subsequent memberships.

  • Can my spouse enroll although without being originally from Africa?

    If you are originally from Africa or born from African parent(s), and reside in the U.S., your spouse and children become automatically eligible by alliance of marriage under the assumption you will be able to provide proofs during the claim process to authenticate your statements.

  • Can I enroll as an adopted child or first generation born in the USA from African parent(s)?

    If at least one of your parents or legal guardian(s) is either originally from Africa, or first-generation child from African parent(s), then you automatically qualify under the assumption you will be able to provide proofs during the claim process to authenticate your statements.

  • Can I change my membership in a middle of an active membership?

    You are given the option to either upgrade or downgrade your membership only when your active membership has expired.

  • Can I cancel my active membership and expect a full refund?

    Membership fee is non-refundable. Subsequently, you may not be able to unsubscribe in a middle of an active membership.
